Join us for an engaging webinar hosted by the Indiana Council for the Social Studies (ICSS) to explore THINKING PRO, a federally-funded media literacy unit designed to empower students with cross-disciplinary skills. Using local news as a motivational hook, this unit fosters mindfulness about the media students consume, encourages discussions on local issues and resources, and sharpens critical thinking skills for evaluating news articles. Discover how local news can spark student engagement, inspire meaningful discussions, and help students find their voice in their communities.
