Annual Conference 2027

2027 ICSS Annual Conference
Mark your calendars and join us for the Indiana Council for the Social Studies Annual Conference on March 5 at the University of Indianapolis. This year’s theme, “Toward a More Perfect Union: Building Democratic Classrooms,” challenges educators to consider how social studies classrooms can prepare students to become informed, thoughtful, and engaged participants in our democracy. The conference will feature meaningful discussions, practical workshops, innovative classroom ideas, and opportunities to connect with educators and leaders from across Indiana. Join us as we explore how history, civics, geography, economics, and the social sciences can help students better understand their communities, their nation, and their role in shaping the future.
