Indiana Humanities Action Grant

The Indiana Humanities Action Grant offers up to $3,000 to tax-exempt organizations for developing and implementing humanities programs aimed at fostering learning, perspective sharing, and community understanding. Accepting applications on a rolling basis each month, the grant supports a wide range of public activities, including workshops, exhibitions, and documentaries, emphasizing the use of humanities as a tool for engagement. With a notification period of one month post-application and projects needing to commence six weeks after the deadline, this grant facilitates meaningful cultural and educational initiatives. Resources for applicants and examples of past projects, like the Michigan City Public Library’s SlamCamp, highlight the grant’s impact.
