Young Washington (Free Tickets)

Young Washington is a new feature-length film coming to theaters on July 3, 2026, exploring George Washington’s early life before he became a Revolutionary War leader and the first president of the United States. The film focuses on a younger Washington who was ambitious, inexperienced, and tested by hardship and failure, showing how those struggles helped shape his character and leadership.

BRI is offering teachers up to 60 free tickets to share the film with students. Tickets will be shipped in April, and each includes a QR code students can use to reserve a seat at a local theater. Teachers will also receive a free discussion guide created in partnership with BRI and George Washington’s Mount Vernon to support classroom conversations.

This opportunity connects well to both history and civics instruction, giving students a chance to examine leadership, resilience, failure, and growth through the story of one of America’s most important founders.
